This person is a savior in the truest sense. We badly wanted to delaminate our marriage certificate to get it attested from a notary on account of VISA processing. But to our surprise delamination is a rarity and seldom practiced.

I contacted Chandran to delaminate a 60-year-old banknote. I am a banknote collector and I had been unable to locate any delaminators in Europe so I was not hopeful that the job could be done. Not only was he able to delaminate it

The word "Mechanical Delamination of paper Documents" was a very rare phenomenon until Mr. Chandran Puchakkaad (also a Bilingual Award winning Novelist in English (Buy the Books) and Malayalam (Buy the Books) )'s efforts to invent a safe method became fruitful and the same was widely appreciated and became popular during the last decade. It was appeared in bold Letters in the Print media (New papers)and Television channels.
It appeared in the popular Indian national Dailies like The Hindu, The New Indian Express, The Doora Darshan, Soorya TV besides various local and regional news papers like Mathrubhoomi, Malayala Manorama, Kerala Kaumudi, Deshabhimani, Rashtra Deepika, The flash, The Latest etc.
So far more than 100000 clients across various continents like USA, Europe, Australia, Asia etc have already testified the efficiency of Chandran Puchakkaad's Delamination Services which he himself does and the technology he invented has been kept as a trade secret till this day. Our achievement and success stories seemed to be a great inspiration for many . We understand from the feedback received from various corners of the world that most of them met fatal failure.
The word "Failure" could not he entertained in the field of Delamination as it deals with the most precious papers that should be long lasting and be protected and preserved from any type of damages. No money compensate it.
Now a days we get more enquiry for not the Delamination work but the enquiry whether we can rectify the papers that such local guys have either tried and failed or damaged or rejected by the legal advisors of various banking institutions by noting that it seems to be a forged documents (Especially from south Indian Metros). Many people complaints that such local guys takes out only the plastic sheet out of a laminate.
(Scientifically it is wrong to call it as a Delamination. A perfect Delamination should be the process of taking out the papers from a laminate without any residual glue or gum on it and it should be as original as it was before lamination )
For time being, after such partial De lamination carried out by these local guys, the dry gum remaining on the paper does not affect the visibility of either the paper or its content and those guys are in the safe side, and it is easy to misguide the poor and un aware customers (Who are already in a panic situation after knowing that 100% lamination removal without using chemical is almost impossible (in which we are the World's 1st and no.1 established professionals since 2001).
The presence of the dry glue can be sensed with fingers. On such papers fingers will not move smoothly over it and any one can easily note that the thickness of the paper also will be more.
As there are no universal method for mechanical Delamination, all are using either their own technology, or spied or stolen methods from others. All these methods seemed to be different from one another.
Over the years, the partially delaminated document would change the color of the Document in to dark brown and gradually it may crack down in to pieces.
And finally when these papers come in to contact with each other (ie. when kept in piles or in files in shelves) due to the formation of Acetic acid on these papers, it would become wet and stick together in block making them unusable after a long term storage in the bank/ office shelves
It is a very funny thing to find out that the historical data '' when,' where and 'who' really originated cellulose acetate lamination as a paper document preserving method was not evident in the history.
The known date backs to 1928, when the National Beuro of standards (USA)and Library of Congress experimented with cellulose acetate lamination. But it was much before it really originated as a preservation method
But it took another two years to see the entry of cellulose acetate film to enter in to commercial market for public use under the trade name "Protectiod".
Only during 1933 American national Beuro of standards conducted lamination by using such cellulose acetate film. It is known that the sample of this lamination is still in excellent condition even after 77 years. The first hydraulic press that work on steam heated water cooled press for lamination was installed in American National Achieves by R.D Wood Co. in 1936.
The necessity for a reverse lamination was noted when the librarians and archivists began to notice that certain portions of cellulose acetate laminated documents began serious deterioration due to oxidisation The first attempt was made under strict scientific laboratory trial by using chemicals that largely used as solvents.
The American national archives and Record Administration were doing such chemical Delamination experiments since last several years.
It is very interesting to note that such chemical Delamination has several limitations. The first and main reason is that the ball point pen ink is soluble in such chemicals used for Delamination.
Now a days it is very common phenomenon that most of us use ball point pen only for writing and signing of valuable documents such as sale deed, agreements etc If treated with such solvents will have no trace of such signatures and entries after Delamination.
And hence chemical Delamination is not at all advisable for modern documents.
